Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary said that the scope of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana has been widened. Out of this, 2 crore more farmers will get Rs. 6000.
Changing this rule will benefit more than 2 crore farmers
Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary says the responsibility of owning up to 2 hectares of arable land has been abolished. Now all the land holding farming families will benefit. The reform will benefit 20 million more farmers. Let me tell you that this is the plan of the Central Government, it was announced in the budget on February 1, 2019.
Earlier, under this scheme, small and marginal farming families were given Rs. 6000. Such farming families benefit from the scheme, whose total land was up to 2 hectares. Now this rule has been removed. This money is given to the farmer in three installments of Rs. 2000-2000.
Money is transferred directly to the farmer's account under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The process of transferring money from DBT remains transparent. In addition, the farmer saves a lot of time.
The next installment will come on August 1st
The next installment under PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana will come on August 1. Despite being registered in the scheme, if an installment of Rs 2,000 is not credited to a farmer's account, he can check the status of his application from home. Here's how to check your name
The new list of PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana 2020 can be checked on the government website pmkisan.gov.in. Even 18 months after the launch of the scheme to deprive 12 lakh farmers in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has not implemented it in West Bengal.
More than 70 lakh farmers are bearing the loss. Despite the state government's ban, 12 lakh farmers in West Bengal have applied under the scheme but the Modi government cannot give them money despite their wishes. Mamata Banerjee is hurting the farmers there for her own political reasons.
Putting politics aside, if the Chief Minister implements this scheme, farmers can get help of Rs 6,000. Apart from West Bengal, 9.94 crore farmers have benefited from this.
