Beneficiaries of PM-Kisan Yojana will get Rs 42,000 annually, find out who the Modi government will give this benefit to

At present, about 11 crore farmers are awaiting the eighth installment of Rs 2,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana. But now these farmers also have the opportunity to earn an additional Rs 36,000 annually. To help farmers, the Modi government will now provide Rs 36,000 annually to PM-farmer beneficiaries. So far the government has issued 7 installments under PM Kisan Yojana.

Last year, the government had released the installment under the scheme till April. But so far this year the farmers have not received the installment amount due to Corona. However, some media reports quoted government sources as saying that the eighth installment would be released soon.

How farmers will get Rs 36,000 per annum

Beneficiaries of PM-Kisan Yojana have to register for 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaj Yojana' to avail an annual benefit of Rs 36,000. This is the pension scheme of the Modi government. Under this scheme, after completing 60 years of age, farmers will get a pension of Rs. 3,000 per month i.e. Rs. 36,000 per annum.

Farmers will not have to register separately for this scheme

The special thing is that the farmers who are getting the benefit of PM-Kisan Yojana will not have to register separately for this scheme. The government already has all their important evidence, in which case these farmers will not have to register or provide any evidence.

Farmers will also get the option to contribute directly to the scheme through the installment received under the PM-Kisan scheme. This way farmers will not have to spend money out of their own pocket to contribute under Kisan Mandhan Yojana. For this, the premium will be deducted from the amount of Rs 6,000 they get annually.

Double the benefit to the farmers

This way the farmers are going to get double benefit. Farmers will get not only Rs 6,000 per year, but also Rs 36,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana. In this way, farmers can avail up to Rs 42,000 by availing both the schemes.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana, farmers between the ages of 18 to 40 will get the benefit of this scheme. But the condition for this is that the farmer should have at least 2 hectares of arable land. They will have to pay a premium of only Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month.

Under this scheme this amount of premium has to be paid for a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 40 years. This will depend on the age of the farmers.

The scheme, which was started to provide cash assistance of Rs. 6,000 per annum to each farmer, has undergone many major changes during this period, which is expected to benefit the farmers more than Rs. The Modi government formally launched the scheme on February 24, 2019 from Gorakhpur. Now with this, you can take KCC credit card more easily than before.

Through this, 1.5 crore Kisan credit cards have been issued under Self-Reliant India. Their spending limit is Rs 1.35 lakh crore. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Rs. Out of the total expenditure limit of up to Rs 2 lakh crore, 2.5 crore KCC will be issued.

So that all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi will also get the benefit of KCC. Through this, a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh can be taken for farming. The loan is available at 4%. Let's talk about its important changes.

Manually check the status

>> If you have also applied for the benefit of this scheme and have not yet received the money in the bank account, it has become very easy to know its status. Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary said that any farmer can check his status by visiting PM Kisan Portal and entering his Aadhaar, mobile and bank account numbers.

Register to avail the benefits

With the launch of this facility by the Ministry of Agriculture, the state governments will now take some time to correct the errors and check the details of the farmers.

Taking KCC became easy

The Modi government has also decided to issue Kisan Credit Cards (KCCs) to all farmers benefiting from the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana. That is, the PM-Kisan scheme has been linked to KCC. With this, loans up to Rs 3 lakh will be available at only 4%.

The country currently has about 80 million active Kisan credit cards. There are more than 2 crore beneficiaries of PM-Kisan Sanman Nidhi who do not have KCC. Since banks already have most of the information about PM-farmer beneficiaries, banks will have no problem issuing KCC to farmers.

Exemption from crop insurance for KCC

Earlier, farmers who had taken Kisan Credit Card even if they did not want to, had to join the Crop Insurance Scheme (PMFBY). Crop insurance has now been made voluntary after it was linked to the PM Kisan Yojana. The government's decision is expected to bring relief to millions of farmers across the country.
