At present, about 11 crore farmers are awaiting the eighth installment of Rs 2,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana. But now these farmers also have the opportunity to earn an additional Rs 36,000 annually. To help farmers, the Modi government will now provide Rs 36,000 annually to PM-farmer beneficiaries. So far the government has issued 7 installments under PM Kisan Yojana.

Last year, the government had released the installment under the scheme till April. But so far this year the farmers have not received the installment amount due to Corona. However, some media reports quoted government sources as saying that the eighth installment would be released soon.

How farmers will get Rs 36,000 per annum

Beneficiaries of PM-Kisan Yojana have to register for 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samaj Yojana' to avail an annual benefit of Rs 36,000. This is the pension scheme of the Modi government. Under this scheme, after completing 60 years of age, farmers will get a pension of Rs. 3,000 per month i.e. Rs. 36,000 per annum.

Farmers will not have to register separately for this scheme

The special thing is that the farmers who are getting the benefit of PM-Kisan Yojana will not have to register separately for this scheme. The government already has all their important evidence, in which case these farmers will not have to register or provide any evidence.

Farmers will also get the option to contribute directly to the scheme through the installment received under the PM-Kisan scheme. This way farmers will not have to spend money out of their own pocket to contribute under Kisan Mandhan Yojana. For this, the premium will be deducted from the amount of Rs 6,000 they get annually.

Double the benefit to the farmers

This way the farmers are going to get double benefit. Farmers will get not only Rs 6,000 per year, but also Rs 36,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana. In this way, farmers can avail up to Rs 42,000 by availing both the schemes.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana, farmers between the ages of 18 to 40 will get the benefit of this scheme. But the condition for this is that the farmer should have at least 2 hectares of arable land. They will have to pay a premium of only Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month.

Under this scheme this amount of premium has to be paid for a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 40 years. This will depend on the age of the farmers.

How much premium do farmers have to pay

If a farmer joins the scheme at the age of 18, he will have to pay a premium of Rs 55 per month. On the other hand, if a 30-year-old farmer joins the scheme, he will have to pay a premium of Rs 105 per month. Farmers over 40 years of age will have to pay a premium of Rs 200 per month. The central government also allocates the same amount as premium.
