Vadodara. Gujarat Pradesh Congress Acting President Hardik Patel is visiting Vadodara today. When Hardik Patel arrived at the Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev temple to pay his respects, Sanjay Panchal, a social worker from Vadodara, protested by waving a black flag. However, he was beaten by Congress activists and handed over to police.
Police arrested the youth. Earlier, social activist Sanjay Panchal had filed an application with the Collector and Commissioner of Police seeking release of Hardik Patel from Vadodara as his arrival in Vadodara was likely to violate Section 144.

Sanjay Panchal, a social worker from Sankarda near Vadodara, said Hardik Patel has been charged with treason. Sanjay Panchal said.
