Corona's rage is getting worse in India. Corona had the highest number of 23,010 new cases reported in the country on Friday, while 449 more died. With this, the number of corona cases in the country has increased from 6.40 lakh while the death toll has risen to 18,653.

"After completion of all clinical trials, the coronavirus vaccine covexin will be launched on August 15," ICMR Director General Balram Bhargava wrote in a letter. India Biotech is working fast so that the target can be met. Its final outcome will depend on how much clinical trial sites support the project.

ICMR sources also confirmed Bhargava's letter. The launch of this drug is scheduled after one and a half months. The vaccine will be available to the public after August 15. World Health Organization scientists, on the other hand, say it could take 12 to 18 months for the SARS-COV-2 vaccine to develop.

The ICMR has selected 12 institutes for human clinical trials, an official said. ICMR has directed 12 medical institutes to work expeditiously on human trials of the vaccine. He also warned that if the instructions are not followed, it will be taken seriously. So you have to work on this project with the highest priority and complete the project on time without any mistakes.

The health ministry, meanwhile, said there was a significant increase in testing for corona in the states due to the ‘test, trace, treat’ strategy and other measures, including removing all barriers to corona testing.

A total of more than 93 lakh samples have been taken so far due to significant increase in the number of Corona samples in the states. According to ICMR, a total of 92,97,749 samples have been taken for Covid-19 so far, out of which 2,41,576 samples were taken on Thursday.
