An artisan died on the spot after hot iron juice made in an iron smelting furnace fell on the artisans in the morning at a factory at Mamsa GIDC near Bhavnagar. While 4 other artisans have been shifted to the hospital for immediate treatment.
4 artisans shifted to private hospital
According to the details of the incident, Bihari artisan Rahul Kumar was killed on the spot when his chain broke while he was transporting hot iron juice prepared in an iron smelting furnace at a factory called Akib Steel in Mamsa GIDC in the morning. While 4 other artisans have been shifted to hospital for treatment of severe burns.
Police reached the spot and conducted an investigation
Ravi, Anuj, Surendra and Jarisingh Daji, who were working in Akib Steel factory, have been shifted to a private hospital. Ghogha police reached the spot on learning of the incident and took further action.
