In Gondal's Kolithad, vagrants tried to abduct Sagira, villagers rallied demanding arrest of the accused.

In Kolithad of Gondal in Rajkot district, there are frequent incidents of young women being molested by vagrants. At that time, 4 persons tried to abduct Sagira last night. However, as soon as the incident was reported, the locals gathered and informed the police. So the police rushed one person.

While the other accused were immediately arrested by the villagers and the village has been kept tight. However the police are trying to persuade the locals. But the villagers demand that the village remain closed till the accused is caught.
As many as 4 persons tried to kidnap Sagira
According to the information received, the sarpanch of Kolithad village Gopalbhai Savalia, Kiritbhai Savalia and former sarpanch Rajubhai said in a telephonic that the movement of people in the village has increased in the last few years. He is openly teasing drunken sisters and daughters.
At around 10 pm last night, four persons tried to abduct Sagira. Meanwhile, the villagers rallied and rescued Sagira from the clutches of the kidnappers. Sagira, meanwhile, was injured and was shifted to Gondal Government Hospital for treatment. The villagers have registered a police complaint against 3 persons from the village and one person from Garnala.
The village will remain closed until the accused are caught
The abduction has sparked widespread outrage in the village. So the locals, including women, came on the road and jammed.
Following the incident, the taluka police rushed to the spot and took action. The villagers foiled the kidnapping attempt and seized 2 motorcycles. Locals say the village will remain closed until the accused are caught.
