For the third consecutive month after August-September, i.e. in October, the price of LPG gas cylinder (LPG Gas Cylinder Price 01 October 2020) has been relieved. Oil marketing companies (HPCL, BPCL, IOC) have not changed the prices of LPG cooking gas. 

In Delhi, the price of 14.2 kg unsubsidised LPG cylinder is fixed at Rs 594. Prices of domestic cooking gas cylinders are also stable in other cities. However, the price of a 19 kg cylinder has come down. According to the prices quoted on the IOC's website, the price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 32 in Delhi.

It may be recalled that the price of 14 kg LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 4 in the first month of July, while the price of 14.2 kg unsubsidised LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 11.50 in Delhi during June. It was cheaper by Rs 162.50 in May.

Check the new price of LPG gas cylinder

According to the website of IOC, the country's largest oil marketing company, the price of a cylinder has remained stable in Delhi. Prices will remain the same in October as they were in September last month.

In Delhi, the price of a 14.2 kg subsidized LPG cylinder is fixed at Rs 594. Similarly, a subsidized LPG cylinder costs Rs 594 in Mumbai. Speaking of Chennai, the price here is Rs 610 per 14.2 kg cylinder. In Calcutta, the price of a cooking gas cylinder is fixed at Rs 620.50 per cylinder.

Expensive 19 kg LPG gas cylinder

Delhi: The price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder has come down from Rs 1,133.50 to Rs 1,166 in Delhi. A 19 kg LPG gas cylinder has gone up to Rs 32.

Calcutta: The price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder has gone up to Rs 1,220 here. Meanwhile, prices have gone up by Rs 24 per cylinder.

Mumbai: The price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder has gone up from Rs 1,089 to Rs 1,113.50 per cylinder in the country's financial capital Mumbai. Meanwhile, prices have gone up by Rs 24.50 per cylinder.

Chennai: The price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder has gone up from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,276 per cylinder in Chennai, the country's fourth metropolis. Meanwhile, prices have gone up by Rs 26 per cylinder.
