The central government has extended the date for attaching ration cards to Aadhaar till September 30 in view of the Koro crisis that has spread across the country.

The Union Food Ministry has said that those who have not attached their ration card to Aadhaar by September 30 will not be given rations.
The process of attaching the base to the ration card
First of all, visit the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), uidai.gov.in. After that, click on the ‘Start Now’ option here. Now fill in your address details - fill in the districts and states. Select the ‘Ration Card’ benefit type from the available options. Select the 'Ration Card' plan.
Enter OTP
Now enter your ration card number, Aadhaar number, e-mail address and mobile number. Enter OTP After this, a notification of the process will appear on the screen. Post this, your application will be verified and after successful verification, the Aadhaar card will be linked to the ration card.
One Nation One Card Scheme has been implemented from 1st June
It may be mentioned that the ration card portability service ‘One Nation One Card’ has been launched in 20 states and Union Territories from June 1. Now you can buy rations in any state under this scheme. That means you won't have to worry about food anywhere.

The scheme is already in operation in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Jharkhand, Tripura, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Daman-Diu.
90 percent ration cards have been attached
According to the ministry, 90 per cent of the total 23.5 crore ration cards so far are linked to Aadhaar. At least one family member of at least 80 crore beneficiaries has been linked to the Aadhaar ration card.
