A stranger threw slippers at Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel after the Karjan seat election rally in Vadodara district. After the meeting, Nitin Patel was talking to reporters when slippers were thrown at him. However the slipper did not reach him but hit the mic of the TV media and fell down.

Patel continued his talk ignoring the incident of throwing slippers. Their security has been beefed up following the incident. Police have launched a search for the slipper thrower with the help of CCTV footage and media camera footage. In this public meeting, Nitin Patel said that Congress and Ahmed Patel had made false cases against Modi and Amit Shah.

 Due to which Gujarat became infamous all over the world. The lotus is a magnet, which works to attract people. Some Congress MLAs were protesting in the Assembly. And then when they come and meet us and say that this is what we have to say, the rest of the government is doing a very good job.

Nitin Patel also said in the meeting that those who do not like India, those who do not like the laws of the central government should go to Pakistan.
