Girls from the North-East were trafficked to run sex rackets in the city. For which a website called Escort was created and a WhatsApp number was given to the customers. So the price was determined by sending obscene photos of the young women in front of the contact. Karelibagh police were busted after a report of a sex racket on WhatsApp was exposed and a man was arrested and two foreign girls were rescued from the racket.

Police set a trap to expose the sex racket

Giving information about the incident, Police Inspector RA Jadeja of Karelibagh police station said that the police had received information that a sex racket was operating through WhatsApp. As a result, the name of the escort service was made into a separate web page and given a WhatsApp number.

 Police set a trap to expose the sex racket. The number given on the website was contacted through a dummy customer. The price was fixed by sending pornographic photos of the girls immediately after contacting them on WhatsApp.

The dummy customer, who was setting the price, took the girl in a four-wheeler car and reached VIP Road. Where the police on watch had speeded up Jeevan Shrilal Bhull (originally from West Delhi, now resides. 

Chandan Mahal Hotel, Sayajiganj). Jeevan was earlier booked in 2019 under the Immoral Trafficking Act at Sayajiganj and Gorwa police stations. The same mobile number through which Jeevan used to run a sex racket is still being used.

Police have registered a case under the Immoral Traffic Act against Jeevan in this regard. Another woman was found at the Mamta Hotel in Sayajiganj area during the preliminary interrogation. Thus, the police have taken steps to free two Sikkim girls from the sex racket and send them back to their homes.
