 Tragic: The passenger who was going to get off the bus was crushed under the wheel of the bus

A passenger on a bus on the outskirts of the city has died after being crushed under the wheel. On learning of the incident, the staff of Kuwadwa Road police station, including PSI Pandavadra, rushed to Kuwadwa GIDC. According to sources, the ST bus going from Dahod to Dhoraji had to stop at GIDC late last night.

 The 35-year-old passenger in the bus at the time fell to the ground just before the bus stopped. The young man later died on the spot while returning to Totting Wheel of the same bus. In the interrogation of the conductor, it is said that the deceased youth had taken a ticket from Dahod to Dhoraji. No identification item was found in the deceased's belongings. Police have launched an investigation to identify the deceased.

Gandhinagar: Following the recent outbreak of COVID-19 virus, all transport services in the state were temporarily shut down by the corporation as per the guidelines of the state government and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

After that, considering the guidelines published from time to time by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the State Government, it has been decided by the Corporation to start the management in phases from 30-9-20 as follows.

The corporation has decided to operate from 8 am to 6 pm.

• The corporation has decided to operate from 114 schedules and 203 trips.

The corporation will operate from taluka to taluka and from taluka to district headquarters within the limits of that district. As well as the management of the districts of the zone has been planned within the limits of the zone determined as per the attached form.

No route will pass through the container area.

• It is desirable for the passengers of the bus to travel through e-ticket / mobile ticket. However, in order to avoid inconvenience to the general passengers, tickets will be issued from the counter at the bus stand as well as through the conductor in the bus.

The bus will be operated with 90% passengers of KPCT.

Instructions for boarding and de-boarding have been sent to the passengers in a manner that adheres to social decentration while boarding and alighting the bus.

• At the present stage, the bus will be operated in all the other districts of the state except the entire Ahmedabad district as part of the normal operation of the corporation. Operation between Gandhinagar city and Ahmedabad city is closed. Interstate management is completely shut down.

The matter has been published at all bus stands / control points and instructions have been given to appeal to the public to ensure that the passengers follow the guideline / social decentralization of the government.

Adequate and adequate health care is planned for the managing staff of the corporation.

Management will be expanded in phases by the Corporation keeping in view the guideline of the Government.

(1) North Zone - Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Gandhinagar.

(2) Central Zone - Kheda, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Dahod, Anand, Chhotaudepur.

(3) South Zone - Surat, Valsad, Tapi, Dang, Bharuch, Navsari, Narmada.

Note: - Secretariat bus services between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad have been suspended at the present stage.
