Signal 1 was applied to a slight increase in wind speed due to depression
Hurricanes have become active in the southwestern Arabian Sea. The hurricane has been dubbed 'Gati'. The hurricane is moving at a speed of 32 kmph in 6 hours. Hence signal number 2 has been installed at Jafrabad and Veraval ports.
Although the sea of Jafrabad is calm, a number one signal has been put up as part of the vigil. Fishermen have been instructed not to plow the sea till November 26. The storm will move towards Yemen.
Normal conditions were observed at sea
No effect of depression is being seen in the Arabian Sea. But as part of increased vigilance in wind speed, signal number 1 has been installed at Jafrabad port. Fishermen have also been instructed to be careful while fishing and to come ashore if necessary. Normal conditions are being observed at sea at present.

The signal of this number shows that the ships going to sea after leaving the port will have to face the naval force.

The port is in danger from hurricanes. But so far the fear of taking any precautionary measures does not seem serious.
5-number signal
A few or moderate hurricanes are likely to cross the shores to the south from the port so that strong winds are likely to blow in the port.
6-Number Signal (Danger)
The possibility of a few or moderate hurricanes crossing the shores to the north of the port so that heavy winds are experienced over the port.
7-Number Signal (Danger)
The possibility of a wide or moderate type of storm passing near or above the port so that the port has to face strong stormy winds.
8-Number Signal (Fear)
The possibility of a strong hurricane crossing the coast from the port to the south so that the port experiences stormy winds.
Signal No. 9 (Fear)
Heavy storms are likely to cross the coast from the port to the north so that the port is likely to experience strong winds.
10-Number Signal (Fear)
Heavy storms are likely to pass over the harbor. Therefore, the port is likely to experience strong winds
Signal 11 (Fear)
Experiencing very bad weather, considered extremely scary.
