'Sasural Simar Ka' actor dies: Actor and voice over artist Ashish Roy dies, dies at home due to kidney failure and financial hardship
Actor Ashish Roy, who was seen in television serials like 'Sasural Simar Ka', has passed away in Mumbai. According to reports, the 55-year-old actor breathed his last at his home at around 4 am on November 24. Ashish had been suffering from kidney disease for the last few years and he did not even have money for treatment. In the last one year, he has often asked people for financial help through social media.
A close friend confirmed the death
Ashish's close friend Suraj Thapar confirmed the news of his demise. In a conversation with Divya Bhaskar, Suraj said, “Ashish has been battling kidney disease for the last few years. He was trying hard to get a foothold financially and was successful to some extent. Although both his kidneys were damaged, he was treating them and asking people for work. '
Took a final breath in the worker's lap
Suraj further said that a show conversation was also going on with Colors Channel and also dubbed a few days ago. Suddenly at around 3.30 in the morning he started having trouble breathing. He had a lot of pain in his chest. The boy who lives with them told of their pain. He died in his lap while talking to the boy.

There is no one in the family except the sister
Suraj said that there is no one in Ashish's family except his sister. He lives in Kolkata. As there is no direct flight from Kolkata to Mumbai, they will reach here by this evening. Ashish's funeral will be at around 7 p.m.
Could not get treatment due to financial constraints
About 6 months ago Ashish had asked for death on his birthday. He could not get treatment due to financial constraints. In a conversation with Divya Bhaskar at the time, Ashish said, "Today (May 18) is my birthday and I am suffering in this environment. I can't even walk. Two days ago I contacted many doctors, but no one helped.

After many requests a nearby doctor prepared for treatment. About Rs 4 lakh has been spent on treatment so far. No income for last 8 months. So I decided to skip treatment. There is no grief even if he dies at home.
Right now I am not getting any support in terms of money. My whole life's earnings have been spent. It is difficult to live such a life now. God bless me. '
