computer related qualification:
As per the provision of Rule-3 (1) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and General Rules-12, a certificate of having basic knowledge of computer application has to be submitted.

Citizenship:
Candidates for admission in the examination

(b) Citizens of Nepal
(c) Citizens of Bhutan or
(d) Exiles of Tibet who came to India before 01/01/16 with the intention of permanent residence in India or

Applying Online:
The details filled by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the proof will have to be submitted in original (including certified copies) when requested by Songadh Nagar Palika.

Non-reserved and non-reserved women candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs.500 / - (five hundred) and other category candidates will have to submit an examination fee of Rs.50 / - (two hundred and fifty) only online from the website of Songadh Nagar Palika.
After paying the application fee, the candidate can submit his application no. And transition ID must be saved.
Refund will not be given after payment of application fee.
Applications without payment of fees will be eligible for cancellation.
Candidates who do not pay the application fee will not be allowed to sit in any of the written examinations / screening tests / oral interviews as per the procedure prescribed by the Appointing Officer.
The candidate has to keep more copies of the passport size photograph which he has uploaded in the online application form and the same photograph has to be taken at the time of recruitment process (written examination / interview / etc.).
If any candidate makes more than one application for the same post, the decision to cancel their application / applications will be vested in Rajkot Municipal Corporation. Age, qualifications and related matters will be considered valid on the last date of acceptance of online application.
If the grade is indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, then the conversion table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage has to be submitted.
An employee on duty in Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have to submit the last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates.
In addition, if more than one post is in charge, a copy of the promotion or selection order must be submitted.
The candidate of the reserved caste has been given by the competent officer of the Government as per the pattern prescribed by the Government of Gujarat regarding his caste (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, S.S.P. and Economically Weaker Class (EWS / BAV)). In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socio-Educational Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Classes (Ews / BAV) who are originally from Gujarat, a waiver of five (5) years will be given in the upper age limit.
No reservation benefit will be available on the basis of the above caste certificate issued by any other state. As per the rules, women candidates will be given a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
Candidates of reserved caste originally from Gujarat have to apply on reserved seat or non-reserved seat.
Whether or not? It has to be clearly stated in the online application form and if the candidates of reserved caste originally from Gujarat apply for non-reserved seats, then the same applicable rules and regulations will apply to the candidates for non-reserved seats.
Subsequent submission of category change will not be accepted if the category is specified. For Socially and Educationally Backward Class Candidates: Candidates are not included in the Advanced Class in addition to the Caste Certificate.
Certificate as per Appendix-2 has to be submitted. The married woman candidate has to get such certificate only on the basis of her parents' income.
If such candidates have submitted such a certificate on the basis of their husband's income, they will not be entitled to the benefit of the reserve.
An Annexure-A certificate issued in English in place of Appendix-A or Appendix-2 will not be considered valid.
