The police have registered an offense under Section 25 (1-B) of the Arms Act
A former BJP corporator was caught with illegal weapons during a night curfew in Rajkot. While police were on patrol during the night curfew, former corporator Sanjay Dhawan was speeding and his car was searched and illegal weapons were found in the car, so the police arrested the former corporator and seized the case including illegal weapons.

A night curfew has been imposed in the city to prevent the transmission of corona. While Pradyumnagar police was on patrol, former BJP corporator Sanjay Dhawa was caught with illegal weapons. Police seized 5 cartridges and a home-made pistol from the car while inspecting the car, so police have registered a case before the former corporator and started an investigation. Former corporator Sanjay Dhawa was elected from the BJP in the 2010 corporation elections.

Police have arrested the former corporator. Along with this illegal weapons have been seized. Police have filed a case under Section 25 (1-B) -A of the Arms Act and IPC. An offense under Section 188 has been registered and an investigation is underway.
