Mahashay Dharmapal Gulati, owner of MDH Masala, died of a heart attack on Thursday morning

Mahashay Dharmapal, owner of MDH Masala, has died at the age of 98. According to sources, he had a heart attack early this morning and died.

However, Dharmapal Gulati did not like this work and he did not earn much. Then in the year 1953, they took over a shop in Chandni Chowk, nicknamed 'Mahashian Di Hatti'. The shop has since become known as MDH. Gradually Dharmapal Gulati's spices became so popular that his spices began to be exported all over the world. In 2017, he was also declared the highest paid CEO of any FMCG company in India.

Dharmapal Gulati has been seen in MDH masala advertisements for years. Dharmapal Gulati's father started this journey in 1922 from a small shop in Sialkot, Pakistan. After the partition of the country, his family came to Delhi. There were also reports that Dharmapal Gulati had bought a horse-drawn carriage during the conflict after coming to Delhi. From which they worked to bring and carry the ride.

New Delhi: Mahashay Dharmpal Gulati, owner of MDH Masala, passed away on Thursday morning. Mahashay Dharmapal Gulati breathed his last at around 5.38 am. Mahasaya Dharmapal Gulati was 98 years old. A few days ago, he came across reports of being infected with Coronavirus, but later he was released.

According to information received, Mahasaya Dharmapal Gulati suffered a heart attack on Thursday morning, after which he died. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan last year.

They came to India from Pakistan at the time of partition

Dharmapal Gulati was born on March 27, 1923 in Sialkot, Pakistan. He came to Amritsar from Pakistan at the time of partition in 1947. From there he came to Delhi and started a business in a small shop. Mahasaya Dharmapal was awarded the Padma Vibhushan last year for his contribution to the industry.
