In Rajasthan's Barmer district, a tantrik set himself on fire with an 8-year-old girl, killing both of them. No information could be obtained as to why Tantric carried out such an incident. The incident took place at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Bakhasar police station area of Barmer.
Ramchandra, the girl's father, who lives in Sujo's Niwan village, said his daughter had gone to a relative's house about half a kilometer away from home with her uncle's sister. On his way back, Tantric Kisturaram (40) forcibly grabbed the girl's hand. He then jumped into a pit prepared in advance like a cheetah and set both of them on fire.
Family members died before they arrived
Seeing the girl and Tantric burning alive, the uncle's daughter informed the relatives. However, both of them died before they reached the spot.
The mental balance of the accused was not right
Tantric Kisturam had prepared the leopard by filling the pit with grass. Police also found a similar leopard in a pit from his home. Interrogation of the locals revealed that the accused was mentally unbalanced. He also practiced mantra-tantra.
