The government has issued a warning, don't click this link on Whatsapp message by mistake

A large number of people are working from home because of Corona. Unemployment, on the other hand, has led to an increase in fraud cases. The government has warned the people about one such case.

The incidence of fraud has recently increased on other social media platforms, including WhatsApp. Many people have turned to crime because of the Corona blackout and the state of unemployment. The government is alerting the public to expose such cyber criminals. A warning issued by the government states that people are being deceived by sending a link to a WhatsApp message.

The cyber criminal has created a false link in which a message is sent from the government talking to the Corona Epidemic Relief Fund and thus deceiving the people. A link is sent to the user for this message. Clicking on which you are asked to fill in some required details. If you share your personal information in this temptation of cyber criminals, anyone can commit cyber fraud with you.

The PIB Fact Check from the government has provided information on the Twitter handle. The tweet said that such a message is completely fake. The government has not released any funds for Kovid 19. And he has told people to be alert through this. The tweet clarified that even by mistake, such a message would not be forwarded to anyone.

Apart from this, people are also advised not to click on any such link. The government has warned that such a message could hack your phone. And data theft and bank account withdrawals can also happen.

Debt of Rs 1.30 lakh per person - In this fake message, the cyber criminals have talked of giving Rs 1.30 lakh from the central government to all citizens as a Covid 19 fund. In a fake message, people over the age of 18 have been told to transfer the funds directly to their bank accounts. And at the same time, when you fill in such information, you are robbed of it.
