The Gujarat government has taken a big decision to recruit 6616 teachers and professors in the state's schools and colleges.

The announcement was made by state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.
Announcing this at a press conference, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the state government will soon launch a recruitment drive for teachers and a total of 6616 teaching assistants and teaching assistants will be recruited.

He said that the state government is going to process a large number of recruits in the near future.
Of these, 927 will be recruited for the post of Professor Assistant in the college while 2307 will be recruited for the post of Teacher Assistant in the subsidized secondary department.
In addition, 3382 teaching assistants will be recruited in higher secondary schools.
He has announced to start the recruitment process of a total of 6616 in colleges, grant aided secondary and higher secondary schools.
