Srinagar: A school teacher was shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Rajnibala, 36, a resident of Samba in Jammu region. Rajni Bala was shot dead in Gopalpora area of Kulgam where she was posted as a teacher. Rajini, who was critically injured in the attack, was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. State police say Rajini has been targeted by terrorists.

Kashmir police have tweeted that a female teacher at Gopalpora High School in Kulgam was shot dead by militants. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and are searching for the attackers. Police said that the terrorists involved in the incident would be identified and they would be arrested soon.
Let me tell you that attacks on civilians have increased in Kashmir in recent times. Ordinary people have been constantly targeted by terrorists in the last few days.
