Owners demand Rs 500 crore from the government as multiplexes close in lockdown

A lot of businesses are being harmed by the Corona virus. One of which is the business of cinema halls and multiplexes. Even in Unlock 3, no concessions were given to cinema houses. So the cinema business is being hit by crores. There are about 20 multiplexes in Gujarat. All multiplexes are closed from March 15. A multiplex employs more than 100 people. In which cinema owners pay them a salary of Rs 3 to 5 lakh per month according to different departments.

So far, a total loss of Rs 500 to 700 crore has been incurred. If cinema halls remain closed in the coming days, the damage will continue to increase.
