Son killed in front of father's eyes as tanker collides with Activa

  • The youth who was injured in the accident on Kuwadwa Road died
  • The incident took place on Saturday morning near Madhapar Chokdi
Rajkot. The teenager was killed on the spot when a tanker collided with an Activa near Madhapar Chokdi in the city on Saturday morning. The middle-aged man was rushed to a civil hospital for treatment. Gandhigram police rushed to the hospital on learning of the incident.

 Interrogating the injured, he said it was Rajeshbhai Bachubhai Parmar, a resident of Vinayak Vatika, Jamnagar Road. The young man who died in the accident was his son Darshan. In the special inquiry, son Darshan was the youngest of two brothers and was studying in Std.

I was leaving home this morning to do imitation work as per routine. Then Darshan told himself to go down to Madhapar Chokdi. So in the morning the son reached Besadi Madhapar Chokdi in Activa. The tanker, which was rushed from behind, collided with the four while the Activa was parked. Which caused both to fumble from the scooter. In which son Darshan was seriously injured. The driver of the accident Sergei put the tanker and fled.

 Head Constable of Gandhigram Police Station. Ghelubhai Shiar has registered a case against the driver who fled the scene of the accident following the complaint of injured Rajeshbhai. Jignesh alias Lalabhai Jentibhai Parmar, owner of the garage where the deceased youth works, has lodged a complaint against the unidentified driver at the Kuwadwa Road police station. Police have taken action.
