Reprinted Aadhaar card will be delivered to you using Speed ​​Post within 15 days depending on the claim.

Support can be reprinted using UIDAI's website and mAadhaar app. After applying for Aadhaar reprint, Aadhaar card holder should have his own Aadhaar number or Virtual Identification Number i.e. VID.

The special thing is that even if your mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar, you can reprint Aadhaar. It has the option of unregistered mobile number i.e. OTP.

Keep in mind that a charge of Rs 50 will have to be paid for reprinting the Aadhaar. It includes GST and speed post charge. Reprint Aadhaar letter will be delivered to the registered address of Aadhaar card holder within 15 days through speed post.



The process of base reprint

  • Learn the reprint process based on UIDAI's website here
  • First you have to go to My Aadhaar section on www.uidai.gov.in and click on Order Aadhaar Reprint.
  • Then you have to enter the Aadhaar number or VID and security code in the opened page. If your mobile number is registered then click on Send OTP.
  • If the mobile number is not registered then click in the box of unregistered mobile number and enter the mobile number. Then click on Send OTP.
  • Enter the OTP on the mobile number and read the terms and conditions and tick the box.
  • There will then be a preview show of the Aadhaar reprint. But preview of unregistered mobile number will not be available.
  • After checking the details in the preview, click on MAC Payment. You can pay using credit card, debit card. Or you can use online banking.
  • After making the payment, details like receipt number, SRN, date and time of payment, transaction ID will be displayed. It will have the option to download the acknowledgment slip. You must note the SRN number.
  • SMS will also come with SRN details on the entered mobile number.

  • You can also check the status of your application after applying for Aadhaar card reprint. You can find the Check Aadhaar Reprint Status option under the Order Aadhaar Reprint option by going to the My Aadhaar section on UIDAI's website.
  • It can also be used directly from https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-reprint-status. To check the Aadhaar reprint status, enter the SRN, Aadhaar number and captcha code in the space provided. This will be followed by the status of the Aadhaar reprint.
