A doctor involved in Sanjay Dutt's treatment at Lilavati Hospital on Sunday told ABP News that Sanjay could not go abroad for treatment in Mumbai at present.

Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt, who is battling lung cancer, was today admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. Sanjay Dutt's lung cancer has reached an advanced stage.

Sanjay Dutt was seen at the Ambani Hospital for tests on Saturday, August 15. A day later, he was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Sunday morning, where he underwent various tests. At 5.15 pm, Sanjay Dutt left Lilavati for his home.

Sanjay Dutt was rushed to the hospital from Bandra's Imperial Heights building at 7 pm this evening, accompanied by his wife Mynata Dutt, his two sisters Priya Dutt, Namrata Dutt and some close associates. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt was seen very calm and on the way out he also told the photographers to pray for himself showing the victory sign.

It was rumored that Sanjay Dutt wanted to go to the US for his treatment, but could go to Singapore for treatment if he was not allowed to go to the US as he was accused in the Mumbai bomb blasts.
