New Delhi: India has given another big tweak to China.  VIVO will not sponsor the IPL this year.  There was widespread opposition to retaining the Chinese sponsor at the IPL Governing Council meeting.  After which, Vivo will no longer be a sponsor in IPL 2020, sources said.

 The IPL Governing Council on Sunday decided to retain Chinese companies as the main sponsors of the tournament.  There is an ongoing dispute between India and China.  Because of this, there is a lot of opposition from Chinese companies in the country.

The 13th season of the Indian Premier League will be held in the UAE from September 19.  For the first time, the final will be played on weekdays instead of weekends.  The 13th season of the IPL was scheduled to kick off on March 29 with a match between last year's champions Mumbai Indians and runners-up Chennai Super Kings, but the league was postponed indefinitely due to Corona's defeat.


 The 13th season of the Indian Premier League will last for 53 days, during which 60 matches will be played.  No changes have been made to the format of the tournament.  The 13th season will have 10 double header matches.  The match will start at 7.30 am Indian time.  On the day of the double header match, one match will start at 3.30 pm.
