If you have Rs 3000 in your bank account then your dream of owning a home can come true. ICICI Home Finance is offering loans ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. The company has launched a new loan scheme 'Apna Ghar Dreams' for skilled workers working in the unorganized sector in Delhi.

 The company's scheme is for carpenters, electricians, tailors, painters, welding workers, plumbing fixtures, vehicle masons, manufacturing machine manufacturers, RO fixtures, small and medium enterprises and grocery shopkeepers working in the city.

ICICI Home Finance said the loan scheme is for people working in the unorganized sector who want to buy their own home, but do not have the documents commonly sought for lending by banks and financial institutions.

 Under the scheme, customers can get a loan for 20 years, as a document, they will only have to provide PAN (permanent account number) and Aadhaar and six months bank account details. For loans up to Rs 5 lakh, a minimum of Rs 1,500 while for loans above Rs 5 lakh, a minimum of Rs 3,000 should be in the account.

The company said customers can also avail the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme (PMAY). It is a credit linked subsidy scheme for low income group / economically weaker class (EWS / LIG) and middle income group (MIG-1 and 2). Under the scheme, the borrower can get a maximum subsidy of up to Rs 2.67 lakh.
