It has been raining in Saurashtra for the last five days in the afternoon. After unbearable blizzard and heat, the atmosphere in Rajkot changed this afternoon. The sky was overcast with black dibang clouds and it started to rain slowly. Areas of the city including Yagnik Road, Kalavad Road, 150 ft Ring Road, Airport Road, Racecourse, Mwdi received light rains.

 People were relieved by the unbearable blizzard as the cold spread in the atmosphere. The roads were also flooded again due to the slow rains. It rained heavily with thunder in Babra. The local river was flooded due to torrential rains in Bhandaria of Amreli.

Heavy rains in Babra district

The weather in Babra district also changed in the afternoon. Heavy rains along with thunderstorms lashed Babra city and rural areas. Heavy rains turned the water back on the road. Due to continuous rains, the fields are flooded. This has damaged the cotton and groundnut crops. The cotton crop has been burnt and the groundnut crop is on the verge of burning.

Due to continuous rains, the peanuts of Atkot were harvested by 150 laborers

Peanuts have grown in the soil of Atkot farmer Rajubhai Khokhariya's farm due to continuous rains. So they have harvested about 150 laborers. Their crops have been damaged by rains for three consecutive days.

Peanuts were planted in 9 vigha of land. He has uprooted the groundnut crop after three consecutive days of rain. It has also demanded help from the government.
