 One Nation One Ration Scheme will benefit millions of people in this state from today, find out how to benefit

As of today, the two Union Territories of Ladakh and Lakshadweep have become part of the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme. These two states have been linked with the portability service of the central government's ambitious One Nation One Ration Scheme. Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Pashwan has informed about this by tweeting. 

Paswan said in his tweet that today 2 more Union Territories Ladakh and Lakshadweep have become part of the Modi 2.0 government's ambitious plan under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Ration card portability is now available between a total of 26 states and union territories.

Ration card portability facility between a total of 26 States and Union Territories in the country

Just last month, the government announced plans to include Manipur, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand in the ambitious scheme. Ration card portability facility is now available between a total of 26 states and union territories in the country. People living outside these 26 states of the country will now be able to get their share of rations through this scheme.

More than 65 crore beneficiaries from 24 states benefited under the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme

So far, more than 65 crore beneficiaries from 24 states have benefited under the One Nation One Ration Card scheme under the National Food Security Act. Currently, from September 1, 2020, people from other states living in the two Union Territories will also be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. Under this scheme, you can live anywhere. You will have the facility to get your share of grain. This will also benefit those working in other states.

Plan to connect more than 81 crore beneficiaries under this scheme by 31st March 2021

The plan is to connect more than 81 crore beneficiaries in the country by March 31, 2021. More than half of the country's population benefits from the scheme after joining the scheme. The Central Government has made sufficient efforts to link all the states of the country with the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme by March 31, 2021. All the 81 crore beneficiaries coming under the National Food Security Act will be able to avail this benefit again easily.
