PM will get Rs.5000 in cash every year even without honorarium fund, find out what the scheme is
The Commission on Agricultural Expenditure and Prices (CACP) has recommended to the Central Government to provide Rs 5,000 to farmers in addition to the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi (PM-Kisan).
The commission has said that farmers should be given a cash fertilizer subsidy of Rs 5,000,000 every year. The commission has recommended that the amount be transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts (DBT) twice. Under this, Rs 2,500 can be given in kharif crop and Rs 2,500 in rabi crop season.
The recommendation of the Commission advising the Central Government on the Minimum Support Price of Agricultural Producers has been taken into account. So farmers will also get a fertilizer subsidy of Rs 5,000 in addition to the Rs 6,000 a year from the PM Honors Fund.
As well as the fertilizer subsidy will be sent directly to the farmers' account, the central government can now meet the subsidy given to companies to sell cheap fertilizers.
So the government will give a total of 11000 rupees to the farmers every year
Due to the subsidy given to fertilizer companies, farmers are now getting urea and P&K fertilizers at cheaper prices in the market. In lieu of this, the government pays the companies an amount equal to the actual price difference with the actual price and discount.
The government gives Rs 2,000-2,000 to farmers three times under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi. So far 90 million farmers are registered under this scheme. If the recommendation is accepted, the government will provide Rs 11,000 per annum to farmers along with fertilizer subsidy.
