Rajkot bogus bill scam, false bills made in the name of Vendat Hospital, both arrested by Crime Branch
The scam of bogus billing of injections has come to light after the black market of remedivator injections in Rajkot. The Crime Branch arrested Sachin Patel and Rajinikanth Faldu, managers of Theos Pharmaceuticals, in connection with the bogus billing of Kovifor 100 mg injection. Both of them had made bogus bills in the name of Vedanta Hospital.

The entire scam was uncovered during a check by the Food and Drugs Department. The Food and Drugs Department's office had produced a bogus bill of 110 injections worth Rs 4.54 lakh by Theos Pharmaceuticals. An investigation has been launched by the Crime Branch into who distributed the amount of injections throughout the case. The crime branch then registered two offenses in one day. Earlier, five persons have been arrested in the black market case of remedivir injection.
