Changed / re-changed rules regarding driving license, Central Government announces draft notification

The central government is going to take a big step to provide relief to Indians trapped abroad in the Koro epidemic. Under this, Indians trapped abroad will get convenience. 

Whose International Driving License (DL) permit has expired. The center is going to research the Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 for them. Research can bring great relief to Indians stranded abroad. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a research draft notification.

You can apply online on the portal of Indian Embassy

According to the draft notification, citizens of India whose International Driving License (DL) permit has expired can apply online on the portal of the Indian Embassy. The application will be dropped into the vehicle platform. The application will reach the concerned RTO.

Under the current rules for an International Driving License Permit, medical certificate and valid valid visa information must be provided. The new research will provide that those who have a valid valid driving license (DL) are no longer required to issue a medical certificate.

Validity of driving license (DL) and documents extended till 31st December

Some countries have a Visa on Arrival system. In such cases people do not already have a visa. Even in such a case, it will not be necessary to provide visa information for the renewal of IPD. 

The Ministry has sought its suggestions and recommendations from the stakeholders on this draft notification within 30 days i.e. till November 6. These instructions can be sent to the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways by mail or address. Also in the country, the validity of driving license (DL) and motor vehicle documents has been extended till December 31.

Rules have changed in Gujarat

The Motor Vehicle Act has been amended to improve the traffic system in Gujarat and to ensure that people follow the traffic rules. The amount of the fine has been revised several times.

 On the other hand, the city has also started giving e-challan to drivers who have been violating traffic rules for some time now. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. However, now if such drivers do not have to make mandatory repairs, they may face severe action.
