Digital Revolution in Villages In Gujarat, 22 services like affidavits, certificates and examples will be provided to the villages, CM launches digital service bridge



The power to affidavit for various services will now be given to the Notary-Taluka Magistrate as well as the Talati Minister of the Gram Panchayat.

  • Citizens will now be able to easily access services at the Gram Panchayat level through the Digital Service Bridge.
  • The digital service bridge will pave the way for more than 18,000 villages in the state to become a global village with a modern village.
  • So far 32961 km underground optical fiber network has covered 7692 gram panchayats in 23 districts, connected to each state data center.

The state government has decided to launch 22 different services like affidavits, samples and certificates in the state from October 8. These services will be started in two thousand gram panchayats covering the digital service bridge at the primary stage.

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will inaugurate the service on October 8. The Chief Minister is determined to cover more than 8,000 gram panchayats in this digital service bridge by December 2020. Gram Panchayats paired with fiber network in the state

He said that the state's science and technology department has taken a new initiative of digital transformation by connecting the gram panchayats with fiber network and launching a new approach of digital service bridge under BharatNet project. E-Sign will allow people to keep certificates in their mobile phones

Vijay Rupani also took the approach of approving services through e-sign instead of physical sign in future so that the common man of the village can also get the certificate of services he needs at any time, anywhere or anywhere in his mobile phone.
