Due to the courage of driver Ashokbhai, the passengers in the BRTS bus were safe

The driver of the BRTS bus, which was traveling from Vesu to BRTS, died on the spot after he suddenly fell ill. Suddenly, the driver took the bus to the side and informed the supervisor. 

The driver was killed by the time the supervisor reached the bus. Upon learning of the accident, the Khatodara police have registered an accidental death and are conducting an autopsy to find out the exact cause of death of the driver.

Incident near Alathan Char Rasta

Vesu lived in front of BRTS bus depot Nandini-03 apartment and Ashokbhai Karasanbhai Maghad (37), a native of Devlia village in Chakkargarh, Amreli, was working as a driver in BRTS. On Saturday evening, they took a BRTS bus from Someshwara on the Amaziah route. They were taking a bus from VIP Road Shyam Mandir to Althan Char Rasta. 

Meanwhile, his health suddenly deteriorated and due to chest pain, he got up at the side of the bus, informed the supervisor and unloaded the passenger and fell asleep in the bus. The ambulance rushed to the scene after the supervisor informed 108 ambulances. By then, however, Ashokbhai had died. Upon learning of the incident, Khatodara police rushed to the spot and conducted a post-mortem to find out the exact cause of Ashokbhai's death.

Controlled the bus as his health deteriorated

Kamlesh Naik, officer-in-charge of the BRTS cell, said the driver of the bus from Someshwar to Amazia suddenly fell ill and took control of the bus and took it to the side. The driver then died.

Possibility of having a heart attack

Postmortem CMO Dr Chironjilal Ghiya said the deceased had complained of chest pain before his death. So death seems to have been caused by a heart attack. The cause of death will be known after the report of the deceased's visa has been taken.
