Tragedy: 3 friends drowned in Kalubhar river in Chogath village of Umrala, 2 youths who went to rescue also drowned, body of one was found

People gathered following the incident

3 friends had to bathe in the river Kalubhar passing near Chogath village of Umrala in Bhavnagar district. The trio seemed to be drowning when two young men jumped to save them, but they both also drowned. 

A total of 5 people have drowned. The incident was reported to the police and administration. A large number of people have gathered following the incident. The body of 1 has been found during the search, while the search for the other four is on.

The search for the other four has been carried out with the help of local swimmers

According to the details of the incident, 3 people had to bathe in Kalubhar river in Chogath village of Umrala. While the three were about to drown, two others fell into the river to rescue them, but all five drowned.

 Locals rushed to the spot and the incident was reported to the authorities. All have been explored with the help of local swimmers. During the search, the body of a young man named Sureshbhai Jadavbhai Koli was found, while the search for the other four is on.
