 BJP will contest 115 seats in Kerala


 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a late-night CEC meeting to discuss the second list of elections in four states and one union territory.  The meeting was attended by senior leaders including PM Narendra Modi, party national president JP Nadda and home minister Amit Shah.


the meeting discussed for the 80 seats of the third and fourth phase for the west bengal legislative assembly and its names may be announced today.  after the meeting, bjp leader rajiv banerjee said, "we mainly discussed the names of the third and fourth candidates and the names of about 80 seats have been finalized which were announced on sunday."  he further said that i want to contest from domjur seat and i have informed the party about it.


It may be noted that in this meeting, the BJP leader also discussed the names of Assam and Kerala along with West Bengal.  After the meeting, the Kerala BJP president said that the BJP would contest from 115 seats in the state while the remaining 25 seats would be given to the allies.


 It is to be noted that elections are to be held in eight phases in West Bengal and the result will come out on May 2.  Voting will be held in three phases in Assam.  Voting will be held in a single phase in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
