 Couple commits suicide with 3 children: Family earns a living by selling land, puts on new clothes - gets ready and hangs

Preliminary investigations revealed that the family had committed suicide due to financial hardship

An incident like Burari in Delhi has come up in Supaul, Bihar. Here 5 members of the same family have committed suicide by hanging together. This includes 3 children including husband and wife. There has been silence in the area since the incident.

The incident took place at Gaddi village of Radhopur police station in the district. There was a very bad smell coming from Mishri Lal Sah's house here late at night, so the villagers spoke to the sarpanch. The sarpanch then opened the door of Mishri Lal's house at 9 pm with the help of villagers. Seeing the scene there, the sarpanch informed the police. However, the police have not yet officially said anything about the incident and the whole incident is being investigated. The parents present in the family committed suicide by hanging themselves with three children late on Friday night. Police have also called a forensic team to the scene.

A couple living in Gaddi Ward-12 of Radhopur police station, two daughters and a son were found hanging with a noose, police said. The father's name in the deceased family is Mishrilal Sah. The entire family was spotted by neighbors last Saturday. Since then no one has seen people coming and going outside the house. He reported it to police late Friday evening when neighbors became suspicious. When the door was opened the whole family was found hanging on the gallows.

The cause of the suicide is not yet clear

Radhopur SP Manoj Kumar also reached the spot. He said the cause of the suicide was not yet clear and an FSL team was also investigating. Neighbors say the family's financial situation was poor and they had been making a living by selling land for the past two years. The family was in the business of selling coal, which was shut down in the lockdown. The family also stopped meeting people around. The deceased include Mishri Lal Sah, his wife Renu Devi and their two minor daughters and a son.
