Union Health Minister Harshvardhan said during an interview that night curfew and Saturday-Sunday curfew are not effective in curbing the corona virus.  They believe that the second wave of corona can be controlled by vaccination.  Corona’s horrific stats have been coming up in the last few days.  About 60,000 new patients were found on Friday.

In Tewama, Union Minister Harshvardhan said, "Keeping social distance can prevent the spread of the virus, but night curfews and weekend lockdowns or partial lockdowns do not have much effect."  He further said that the government is considering speeding up the vaccination campaign.  That is why the age limit for vaccine is being reduced.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan also said that the government was now better prepared to deal with an epidemic like Corona.  According to him, the country is currently working on 6 vaccines.  The trial of these vaccines is in various stages.  In such a scenario, it is expected that the country will get more vaccines soon.  There are currently two vaccines available in India and this vaccine is completely safe.
