The Twitter account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal website was hacked. The hacker hacked the account and wrote, "I urge you all to donate to the PM Modi Relief Fund created for Kovid-19." The donation was solicited in cryptocurrency Bitcoin. However, this tweet was immediately deleted.

The hacker wrote in another tweet, ‘This account has been hacked by Jock Vic (hckindia@tutanota.com). We did not hack Paytm Mall. 'Twitter also confirmed this on Thursday when the news broke in the media. However, it is not stated when the hacking took place.



Twitter conducted the investigation

According to the news agency Reuters, Twitter has also confirmed that the account has been hacked. "We are investigating," he told Twitter spokespersons via email. We have not yet received any information that another account has been hacked. 'The Twitter account વડાપ્રધાનnarendramodi_in of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal website narendramodi.in has more than 25 lakh followers.

Why was Paytm Mall mentioned?

In fact, on August 30, cybersecurity firm Siebel claimed that the John Wick Group was involved in data theft at Paytm Mall. Paytm Mall Unicorn is Paytm's e-commerce company. Siebel claims that the hacker group demanded ransom. Paytm, however, later claimed that none of their data had been stolen.

    Bitcoin is a virtual currency. That means its transactions are only online. It can also be converted into other currencies. It came into circulation in 2009. The current rate for a bitcoin is Rs 8,36,722.

    The Twitter accounts of several celebrities and companies, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Alan Musk and former US President Barack Obama, were hacked on Wednesday. The hackers also targeted the accounts of iPhone company Apple and cab service company Uber. Hackers have resorted to the names of reputable people for cryptocurrency fraud.
