The threat of Covid-19 remains the same in the state, in the last 24 hours, 1192 cases of Corona have killed 18 people.

A further 1192 cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. So today a total of 18 patients have died. Of these, 5 died in Surat, 4 in Ahmedabad, 3 in Rajkot, 1 in Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar, Kutch and Vadodara. So currently 79 patients are kept on ventilators. 

So in the last 24 hours a total of 1046 patients have been discharged and till today a total of 58 thousand 439 people have been discharged recovering. If we talk about the cases registered in the last 24 hours, the highest number of 251 cases have been reported in Surat, 166 in Ahmedabad and 109 in Vadodara. Thus, the cases of corona are increasing rapidly in the state. Today, a total of 50 thousand 817 tests have been done in the whole of Gujarat. So till today a total of 11 lakh 59 thousand 822 tests have been done in Gujarat.

The royal family in the Sakanja of Corona in Gondal

The report of Maharaja Jyotindra Singh Jadeja and Maharani Kumodhba Jadeja of Gondal has come positive. They have been quarantined at their present palace residence. The health system has also proposed to quarantine the palace staff.

Two employees of Gwalia Suites near Mansi Char Rasta in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad have tested positive. Many Ahmedabadis have bought sweets during Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami.

In Ahmedabad, another BJP woman office bearer, Umaben Gandhi, reported positively. City BJP Mahila Morcha Minister Umaben Gandhi is currently admitted to AVP Hospital for treatment.

In Gandhinagar Vijay Rupani government, the report of Mamata Varmano Koro, IAS officer of the civil aviation department including industry and tourism, has come positive. All those in contact with Mamata Verma are said to have been quarantined. Mamta Verma's husband Sanjeev Kumar is also a Gujarat cadre IAS officer and is currently the MD of GSPC. They sit in the GSPC Bhavan near Gandhinagar Udyog Bhavan. Due to which, scuffle has also spread among the officers on duty in Udyog Bhavan - GSPC.
